Which is the best way to learn: exposure or focus on form?
Unlike babies, adults need to focus on form plus being exposure to a new language. When we were babies, we learned our L1 by exposure, e.g. hearing everybody around us, then we picked the words up. In this way most of everybody learns L1.
Nevertheless, for adults is not the same, when they want to learn an L2 they have to focus on form, it’s not enough by being exposure and pick up some words, they need more than that! It’s necessary for them to notice the pronunciation of words, its grammar, vocabulary and its use. But while they are learning using these both ways they need to interact with people in order to practice what they have learned.
Let’s see what else is involved in this topic by using and practicing some new vocabulary!
Here you’ll find three main ways we learn a foreign language: find them out!
YOU WILL FIND THE NEXT VOCABULARY ON THE FOLLOW EXERCISE:
| Exposure | Grammar translation method | Learning style | Focus on form |

Thank you Ellen I’ll try to improve it or at least to use clear information, I wanted to use as much as possible but it could be worst if we can’t manage one thing properly.

Well done Fer! Thank you because you are praising me without noticing it! I hope this method could really help us in the exam but the most important that we could really apply it in real life. Our kids or learners need good teachers.
